Full Description
The day begins at 09:00 AM when you meet your guide at the designated meeting point in Santo Domingo. From there, you’ll travel about 40 minutes by coach to Los Tres Ojos where you will explore the open-air limestone caves and lagoons, learning about the Taíno heritage, spiritual traditions and natural history of the site.
After the cave visit (approximately 3 hours), the tour moves to La Cueva—a private countryside-style farm where the same underground river flows. Here you’ll have time to swim or relax by the water, surrounded by lush greenery. Then join a cassava-pizza making workshop with local ingredients, followed by a traditional Dominican lunch cooked over firewood. In the afternoon you’ll return to Santo Domingo, arriving back around 4:00 PM.
