Your tour begins with hotel pickup and a scenic drive to Playa Minas. This pristine beach hosts large numbers of migrating turtles between October and April. Enjoy a 700-meter hike in the dark with infrared flashlights, guided by bilingual experts who teach respectful observation techniques. Encounter black turtles and, with luck, the impressive leatherback turtles—the largest sea turtles on Earth, weighing over 1,200 pounds and measuring up to 8 feet long.
