Your day begins early with a 6:00 AM pick-up from San José or nearby areas. As you leave the city, you’ll travel through scenic coffee plantations and into the mountains of Braulio Carrillo National Park. Around mid-morning, you’ll stop to enjoy a traditional Costa Rican breakfast featuring fresh coffee, fruit juice, eggs, and classic gallo pinto.

Continue your journey to a banana plantation, where you’ll learn about the production and export process of one of Costa Rica’s most important crops. Afterward, board a boat for a scenic cruise through the peaceful canals of Tortuguero. Surrounded by dense rainforest, you’ll have the chance to spot a wide range of wildlife — monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, toucans, green sea turtles, and many more species that make this area famous.

Following your wildlife-rich boat tour, enjoy a buffet-style lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients. In the afternoon, you’ll walk through Tortuguero Village, where your guide will share insights into the community’s culture, traditions, and conservation efforts. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to the bus around 3:30 PM for the ride back to San José.
