Your adventure begins with a scenic drive toward the town of Imbert. Upon arrival at the park, you will be equipped with a helmet and life jacket for your safety. Accompanied by expert guides, you will start a moderate 30-to-40-minute hike through the dense forest, crossing bridges and spotting local flora along the way. Once you reach the top, the real fun starts as you make your way back down the river. You will navigate a series of waterfalls by jumping into deep pools, sliding down natural limestone slides, and swimming through narrow canyon passages. For those who prefer a calmer route, stairs and walk-around paths are available for the higher jumps. After the water activities, you’ll return to base camp to dry off and enjoy a hearty, authentic Dominican meal.
