Full Description 💧 The journey takes you through a series of interpretive trails that lead to 12 freshwater lagoons. These lagoons were famously called "eyes" (ojos) by the ancient inhabitants due to their shape. You will have the opportunity to swim in several of these refreshing, emerald-colored pools, which are naturally filtered by the surrounding limestone. As you walk through the reserve, keep an eye out for over 100 species of birds and numerous reptiles and insects that call this coastal forest home.
