Start your adventure with a scenic drive from Guanacaste to Bijagua, a village nestled between two volcanoes. Hike 45 minutes through the rain forest to reach the breathtaking Rio Celeste waterfall, whose vibrant blue color comes from a natural chemical reaction between volcanic minerals and sulfur. After the hike, enjoy a traditional lunch made from fresh local ingredients. Continue with a second hike to observe 2-toed and 3-toed sloths in their natural habitat, guided by a local naturalist with binoculars and a telescope. Finish your tour with a coffee break before returning to Guanacaste.
