The adventure begins with a 6:30 AM pickup from your Punta Cana hotel. You’ll travel to Sabana de la Mar, where you’ll board a boat to enter the protected Los Haitises National Park. As you glide through the red mangroves, your guide will share insights into the local ecosystem. You’ll visit historic limestone caves once inhabited by the Taino people, viewing ancient art that dates back centuries. After the boat expedition, you will visit the beautiful natural pools of Caño Hondo for a relaxing dip followed by a traditional Dominican buffet lunch.
